The Inspiration
The locked up
Face against the glass, xed, stupid, looking without hearing.
Out here what happens happens: something. A cloud ashes, a gale rises,
a swell rises
or a prairie stands still in the light.
– An extract from El encerrado by Rosario Castellanos
The Common Thread
The darkness of the night. The shadows of the day. The intensity of a desk lamp. The flickering of a candle. The glow of the oven. Comfort. Danger. Clarity. Confusion.
Chapter VI focuses on something that sustains life, that allows us to see and that controls us, LIGHT, and with this we begin a creative journey and the construction of an audiovisual Exquisite Corpse that will transport us from home to home. Una Casa Exquisita.
