The Inspiration
On the table is an album that I did not know; when looking at it,
I see the battle, the corpses and the plants drawn. En black and
white. And in colour. The night suddenly closes in; the lights
turn on by themselves.
– a poem “Sunday afternoon” by Marosa Di Giorgio, in The Wild Papers, Adriana Hidalgo Editora (2008)
The Common Thread
The familiar curves of a body. The silhouette of mountains at sunset. The enveloping surrounding sound when you close your eyes. Layers of consciousness. The sense of space. The privacy of personal memory. Physical. Fantastical. Affective. Temporary.
We focus on something we experience both inside and out, LANDSCAPE, and begin a creative journey through the construction of an exquisite corpse that transports us from landscape to landscape, from home to home. Una Casa Exquisita.

The Inspiration
